Yeah it is.
Up at the store there has kinda been a warmachine break. There has been a lot of blood bowl and 40k as of late.
A lot of people are waiting for Mk II to become official. They are waiting for the cards and the books.
The main thing that may be an issue that the the total player pool has died down. We dont get near as many on a weekend as we used to. A lot of people have either lost interest, moved, or got busy.
I think some of it may be league fatigue. So many leagues going on all at the same time just makes it seem like to much and people are just mentally tired of it all.
I am really hoping that Mk II really sparks people's interest.
I have got a hold of some cygnar during the down time. They will probably be my Mk II warmachine faction. Lot of nice stuff with them and i keep looking over at eNemo and thinking he might be something special.
Around christmas break be watching the painting section for the blues. I will probably be mass painting them like i did the trolls. _________________ I'm going to need an old zealot and a young zealot.

Understand there... with the release of the "offical" card PDF, we've gotten some interest and I've started picking up Mercs (p and e magnus and the ashlynn I have... got some jacks and a couple units so far) as they feel somewhat viable. have to actually play it and see.
Have to also play Cygnar some more as I wasn't exactly happy with some of the changes from the playtest to the "final" version. We'll see though... _________________

My friends and I play WM every weekend at my place in Norman.
I have 2 huge tables set up and a dedicated WM room. We use different pieces of felt I've cut out for terrain.
we play MK2 for WM and MK1 for Hordes, although we'll be switching entirely to MK2 on the 24th.
We each play something different, there are 5 of us.
Menoth, Cygnar, Skorne, Khador/trollbloods, Cryx
If you're interested in playing with us you can email me at
planescapedm@gmail.com
We need new people to play. Also you can BYOB cause we have a fridge and order food to my place. |
