Just going to drop a note here before I go off to GenCon.
WARMACHINE Weekend 2009 is coming up this October. I'm going to list some of the information and event list here. If you can make it, you won't be disappointed! This is the SIXTH year and we will be sending the MK1 rules out with a blast.

Don't forget you can learn more over at the BLOG.

You can also go pre-reg at THIS site.

The Weekend this year will be hosted at G.A.M.E. (a new regional convention in Springfield, MO), but you will need to pre-reg at the previous link, not on the G.A.M.E. link.
(No you will not have to purchase tickets to both to get in, the WARMACHINE Weekend pass is all you need.)

So for the fun stuff:
WARMACHINE Weekend 2009
October 16th-18th
Springfield Expo Center
Springfield, MO

Friday October 16th:
11am - 500pt Mixed Steamroller 4 (SR4)
3pm - 750pt Mixed SR4
7pm - Monsterpocalypse Single Monster tourney
8pm - 350pt Mangel Metal/Tooth & Claw

Saturday October 17th:
9am - 1000pt - Mixed SR4 MAIN EVENT!
9am - 500pt - WARMACHINE SR4
3pm - 500pt - HORDES SR4
8pm(after the 1000pt event) - 350pt Mangled Metal/Tooth & Claw HARDCORE

Sunday October 18th:
9am - 750pt - Theme Army Tournament
10am - 350pt - Mixed 1:1:1:1
2pm - Award Ceremony

There will also be Iron Kingdom Roleplaying sessions and Monsterpocalypse events as well. As soon as I confirm from the people running these I'll post the start times for them.

And like the last couple of years...Remember that with every Warmachine and Hordes event you play in (and finish) you will have a chance to win a new army.

Some other fun stuff:
This year entries in the random prizes will be handled through the winning of achievements. A full list will be posted on the blog before the event. But you can start getting these achievements at GenCon. just hunt me down and look for buttons that look like:

While supplies last you can get these button and get a head start on the race for achievements at the Weekend!
